Question 1

What exactly does The Setup Co. do?

Accepted Answer

We take a commercial space from search to switch-on. That means finding the property, planning the layout with Vastu and daylight in mind, designing the interiors, executing the fit-out, and handing over a space that is ready to work in on day one.

Question 2

Can I engage you for only one part of the journey?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most clients come to us for the full journey, but you can engage us purely for property advisory, purely for design, or purely for turnkey execution of a space you have already leased.

Question 3

Which cities do you work in?

Accepted Answer

Our base and deepest inventory knowledge is Thane and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. We have delivered projects across India and travel for execution where the scope justifies it.

Question 4

Why don't you list properties publicly on the site?

Accepted Answer

Most of the good inventory is confidential. The owner does not want rent, floor and building details in public. We share specifics once we understand your requirement and can match you to the right two or three options instead of forty.

Question 5

What office sizes do you typically handle?

Accepted Answer

From roughly 2,000 sq ft for small businesses to 20,000+ sq ft enterprise floors. Below that band, co-working is usually the better commercial answer and we will tell you so.

Question 6

Do you charge occupiers a fee for the property search?

Accepted Answer

Commercials are discussed transparently at the qualification call, before any site visit. There are no surprise charges introduced later in the process.

Question 7

How long does a typical office fit-out take?

Accepted Answer

A bare shell office of around 5,000 sq ft typically runs 10 to 14 weeks from design freeze to handover. Warm shell and ready-to-move spaces are faster. We commit to a dated timeline before work starts.

Question 8

Do you follow Vastu strictly?

Accepted Answer

We plan for Vastu compliance as a design input, not an afterthought: orientation, entry, seating and pantry placement. Where a Vastu ideal conflicts with usable area, we show you both options and the trade-off.

Question 9

Who manages vendors and site coordination?

Accepted Answer

We do. You get one point of contact, one timeline and one accountable team. Furniture, lighting, HVAC, civil, branding and signage are all coordinated by us.

Question 10

What happens after handover?

Accepted Answer

We snag the space with you, hand over warranties and drawings, and can continue with facility management, maintenance, staffing and security if you want the space run as well as it was built.
